faidrop -  face the fact and act!

With her work Dellefant is operating between art and political acting. She developed a fairdrop modul in colaboration with the scientist Nico Grove . It´s a pilot project about „virtual water“ . This modul is an artisitc intervention in the public space.
The sculpture is out of wood and has several functions at the same time. It´s like a show room for clothes, or just a shelf , something to sit on or a catwalk. The T-Shirts you can get there are in different collores and sizes. At their back you find the  facts about virtual water.  The deal - you get a shirt if you wear it and spread out the facts! This is one possibility to "act" - other suggestions were printed on a wallpaper during the exhibitions

nisiere T-Shirt-Tausch-Parties . leave one of your shirts here . stelle dich rückwärts in Menschengrup-
pen und bitte sie den Text auf deinem T-shirt zu lesen . occupy clothes shops . entwickle umwelt-
freundliche Textilien . informiere VerkäuferInnen . set up an organisation for fair trade water . frage Unter-
nehmen nach der Herkunft ihrer Baumwolle . rethink resources . guess how much water you need for the production of other goods . schreibe den Text mit der Hand auf ein T-shirt deiner Freundin . versuche den Aralsee, ein Opfer des Baumwollanbaus, zu retten . post this shirt . denk nicht, teure T-shirts wären besser . ask people on the street about their ideas .

Become an activist! Take a shirt and carry the facts out into the world.
Ask people to read the text in the back or put the shirt back in a H&M shop like lucia dellefant did in her "short acts".
